Reports To: Director of Human Resources Operations
The Sr. Human Resources Specialist provides comprehensive support in staffing, certifications, workflow management, onboarding, records administration, and data integrity for all employees. This role serves as a key resource for management and employees, consulting to identify, evaluate, and resolve employee-related issues while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Ensure alignment with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Support documentation, audits, and required reporting.
Monitor internal staffing practices and systems to maintain ongoing compliance.
- Oversee personnel transactions in the HRIS system.
- Support staffing processes across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
- Oversee pre-employment process and ensures staffing actions align with policy and operational needs.
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support hiring workflows and ensure timely onboarding.
- Provide operational guidance and support to HR Specialists.
- Assist with documentation and workflow management to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Coordinate and support special projects and initiatives.
- Process and respond to HR inquiries received via phone, email, providing timely and professional support to all stakeholders.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of customer service across HR.
Serve a resource for cross-team coordination and contribute to process improvement efforts.
To Be Successful at This Job, You'll Need To: (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years HR related experience.
Working knowledge of general HR practices.

- Demonstrated ability to handle fast paced, high volume workload.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills .
