Job Overview

The role of Sr. Director, IT Delivery Services is a senior level position responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all people, processes, partners, and systems involved in operating Hubbell’s SAP S/4 HANA RISE ERP functional environment. This includes the successful delivery of all projects and ownership of all enterprise applications in this space, managing a multi-level organization responsible for these outcomes. The successful candidate should have extensive SAP COE leadership experience in an SAP S/4 HANA environment and must be an experienced IT leader with a track record of delivering strong results. He / She should be able to communicate effectively with Hubbell executive management and possess a deep functional understanding of SAP S/4 HANA. This position reports to the VP, IT Enterprise Platform Solutions.

Role

Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. Your role as an IT leader in this space will be to:

- Manage resource capacity and own the successful execution of projects and enhancements coming in from IT Business Technology, IT Enablement, IT Technical Operations, and IT SAP Migrations

- Own and optimize AMS support for the applications in the enterprise SAP ERP ecosystem

- Lead an organization of 30+ Hubbell employees responsible for successfully executing on these responsibilities

- Partner closely with the VP, IT Business Technology and IT executive management as well as Segment and Corporate executive management on project prioritization and staffing

- Communicate and influence effectively to align priorities and drive engagement across all levels of the organization - from the Corporate and Segment executive levels down through all management levels

- Manage vendors and contracts leveraging defined vendor management processes

- Work with the Quality management teams within IT Integration & Governance and IT Platform Solutions to implement efficient and sustainable testing on all projects to include automated testing and/or outsourced testing

- Ensure all projects and initiatives are utilizing the Hubbell IT PMO methodology and work with internal and external compliance on applicable project audits

Key Outcomes

- Approved projects coming in from IT Business Technology, IT Enablement, IT Technical Operations, and IT SAP Migrations executed on time, with minimal defects, and positive ROI

- Resources tracked accurately and real-time resource capacity visibility achieved

- AMS provider achieving SLA goals for run support ticket response time and resolution

- Run support customer service ratings at high satisfactory levels

- Successfully managed and optimized contracts with key vendors

- Implement fully automated or outsourced testing processes to accelerate delivery and improve quality

- Project audits with satisfactory result ratings

What will help you thrive in this role?

- 20+ years of progressive experience in large-scale ERP programs, including 10+ years of experience in SAP functional application management and at least 2 years in an SAP S/4 HANA RISE environment (required) - Extensive leadership experience, including 12+ years managing organizations, setting strategic objectives, overseeing budgets, and being accountable for achieving enterprise goals (required).

- Proven ability to influence at the highest levels, with executive-level communication and presentation skills (required).

- Experience with partner/contract management and outsourcing (required)

- Comprehensive knowledge of SAP SD, MM, PP, WM, EWM, QM, PM, IBP, and FICO modules and how to leverage capabilities in these modules (required)

- Expertise in SAP Fiori implementations (strongly preferred).

- Understanding of SAP Joule and its application within enterprise environments

- Expertise in implementing automated testing strategies and managing outsourced testing services

- Successful experience handling internally and externally conducted audits

- BS in Computer Science, Information Science, or related major concentration (required), Masters degree preferred
