The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from:

- $116,640 - $145,800 (Orange, CT)

- $121,920 - $152,400 (Boston, MA)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Infrastructure and Network Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based infrastructures and network systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code (IaC), and network automation. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud infrastructure while driving automation and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

- Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and scalability.

- Implement best practices for cloud architecture and security.

- Develop and maintain automated network deployment and management systems using tools like Ansible, Terraform, etc.

- Ensure seamless integration of network services with cloud and on-premises environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve network performance and security issues.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and network automation.

- Evaluate and implement automation tools and frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.

- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the reliability and availability of cloud and network infrastructure.

- Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvements.

- Work closely with IT teams to support application deployments and infrastructure requirements.

- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation of cloud and network architectures, configurations, and processes.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation.

- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

- Hands-on experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).

- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, etc.).

- Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
