The Sr Account Manager will be primarily responsible for overseeing all Account Managers in their defined geographical area along with ensuring Customer needs are understood and met. This position must be actively involved in training/mentoring their direct reports. In addition to the current Customer base, the Sr. Account Manager is also responsible for developing a sales pipeline with a focus on closing new business in their assigned area. The Sr. Account Manager is assigned a Company vehicle and must possess a Class C driver license to drive for Aegis in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
The Sr. Account Manager must be proficient in all duties and responsibilities of an Account Manager with ability to effectively train employees in each of the following:
•Obtaining field samples for laboratory analysis;
•Check and adjust pump rates;
•Order chemical for delivery and batch treatments;
•Supervises batch treatment of oil line laterals and pig runs;
•Performing field analysis of samples within parameters set forth by Aegis’ Operations team;
•Maintains continuous injection rates at optimum levels;
•Troubleshoots and works on pipelines;
•Basic knowledge of lift systems, G.L., Rod pumps. Sub pumps;
•Basic knowledge of facilities;
•Field analysis/bottle testing;
•Understanding of P&L reports;
•Oilfield chemical application knowledge;
•Develops and maintains Treater Truck treatment rates and/or frequency;

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•3-5 years’ experience managing teams of five or more people
•Experience in managing accounts in the production chemical industry
•Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, but we will accept work experience in lieu of
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
•Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. at any given time;
•Daily physical demands of the position include, but are not limited to sitting, standing, climbing, agility, reaching, trunk movements, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, low level work, dexterity of hands and fingers, seeing, hearing and talking.
•Ability to work in inclement weather.
