In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in building residential solar systems from the ground up. No two days are the same, and every project helps create a cleaner future for our communities.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Solar Installation Technician, you'll help bring solar projects to life by working directly on rooftops and job sites. You’ll work closely with your crew to ensure systems are installed safely, efficiently, and up to code. Your day-to-day will include:

✅ Installing solar panels on residential rooftops

✅ Reading blueprints and site plans to guide your work

✅ Assembling and wiring systems, including batteries and accessories

✅ Troubleshooting and performing system maintenance

✅ Ensuring OSHA safety practices at all times

✅ Preparing, cleaning, and organizing the job site

✅ Loading and managing tools and equipment

✅ Staying up-to-date through ongoing training

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

Experience or interest in construction or mechanical work

The ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

Good communication skills and a professional attitude on job sites

Familiarity with tools, ladders, and safety procedures

A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team environment

Basic Qualifications

✔ High School Diploma or GED

✔ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

✔ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights

✔ Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods
