At VES, the Solar Sales Consultant is primarily responsible for presenting solar design proposals to homeowners in the community and helping them transition to using clean energy. These design proposals are typically presented in-home and may also include other add-ons such as energy efficiency packages or a new roof. Additionally, Solar Sales Consultants are responsible for generating their own leads and maintaining back-end administrative duties.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position; therefore, the type of person who excels in this role enjoys working independently, has excellent communication skills, is an expert at managing their time, and values giving the best customer service experience possible. This role is a good fit for anyone with previous sales experience who is confident in generating their own leads.
Responsibilities: • Door-to-door lead generation and appointment setting in local communities• Use call, email, text, and other various communication forms to identify the validity and potential of leads
Pay: • Uncapped commission-based sales - Average sale commission is between $2,000 - $5,000 per close - The average annual compensation for reps in our company is between $72,000 - $180,000/year (3 closes/month)
