Overview

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions and guiding them through the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven track record in sales. You will work both independently and collaboratively to meet sales goals while promoting sustainable energy practices.

Duties

•

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers and opportunities for solar energy solutions.

•

Engage in door-to-door sales activities to promote solar products and services to residential clients.

•

Provide detailed information about solar technology, benefits, and installation processes to prospective clients.

•

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent customer service and follow-up.

•

Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales activities.

•

Collaborate with team members to strategize on effective sales techniques and share best practices.

•

Attend training sessions to stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales strategies.

Skills

•

Proven experience in outside sales or technical sales, preferably in the solar industry.

•

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.

•

Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable.

•

Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

•

Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.

•

Knowledge of market trends related to solar energy and renewable resources is beneficial.

•

A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections during the sales process.
