About This Job
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and facilitating the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that customers understand the benefits of solar energy and guiding them through the installation process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, experience with heavy equipment operation, and a passion for renewable energy.
Responsibilities
•
Engage with potential customers to educate them about solar energy solutions and their benefits.
•
Conduct site assessments to determine the feasibility of solar installations.
•
Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and bucket trucks safely and efficiently during installations.
•
Utilize power tools and hand tools for installation tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
•
Collaborate with electrical teams to ensure proper low voltage wiring and connections are made.
•
Dig trenches and prepare sites for solar panel installations while maintaining a clean work environment.
•
Provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
•
Maintain accurate records of installations and customer interactions.
Experience
•
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including backhoe operation and bucket operation.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems and low voltage applications.
•
Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in construction or installation settings.
•
Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus but not required.
•
A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work is essential.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $44,769.61-$100,911.86 per year
Expected hours: 8 per week
