Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Solar Installer II with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in residential solar installation. This role is ideal for someone who has solid technical knowledge, works well on a team, and is ready to take the next step in their solar career.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential rooftops.

- Ensure installations meet SunStar’s standards, safety codes, and manufacturer specifications.

- Conduct pre-installation job site inspections and assessments.

- Assist in loading/unloading materials and staging job sites.

- Collaborate with electricians and other team members for seamless system integration.

- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field.

- Maintain accurate documentation of installations and project details.

- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and SunStar safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of solar installation experience required

- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and general construction practices

- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- NABCEP certification is a plus but not required

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor

- 10-20% travel within the state of Texas
