We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in promoting renewable energy solutions and contributing to a sustainable future.

Duties

- Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops according to project specifications.

- Work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately position solar equipment.

- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations.

- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow and safety.

- Conduct site assessments to determine the best placement for solar installations.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation, including electrical problems or equipment malfunctions.

- Ensure all installations meet quality standards and pass inspections.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in solar installation or related construction field is preferred.

- Knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.

- Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards in electrical work.

- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction.

- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site safety practices.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy equipment and working at heights.
