Position Title: Solar Install Technician

Primary Objective: A Solar Install Technician is involved in several aspects of a commercial and/or residential solar installation. They work closely with the Lead Installer or Operations Management to ensure the completion of installation of all solar arrays/systems.

Responsibilities:

- Layout and assembly of solar modules, array and mounting hardware

- Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment

- Electrical wiring of solar array/system (AC & DC)

- Involvement with the quality, timeliness, documentation, and safety of each installation

- Maintain a clean job site

- Additional duties required as needed

Knowledge and Skills Required:

- Strong work ethic

- Detail oriented and shows pride in work

- Be able to lift 50 lbs of weight frequently throughout the day

- Be willing to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops

- Have valid driver license and reliable transportation with a clean driving record

- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment screen

- Must own hand tools

- OSHA 10 Certification

- Verifiable references

- US Citizenship or Work Permit

Physical Demands:Required to walk, lift heavy objects, climb ladders and stairs, and work on rooftops.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
