Solar Technician

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer to join our team. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation and maintenance of solar panels and related equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires technical knowledge and physical stamina. Responsibilities:

- Assist with the installation of solar panels on rooftops or other structures

- Perform electrical wiring and connections for solar power systems

- Ensure proper alignment and positioning of solar panels for optimal energy production

- Install mounting hardware, brackets, and racking systems

- Connect solar panels to electrical components, such as inverters and batteries

- Test and troubleshoot solar power systems to ensure functionality

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in construction or electrical work is preferred

- Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to solar installations

- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
