Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of signage on commercial and public properties, ensuring each sign is securely mounted, properly aligned, and meets safety standards. Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure accurate placement and alignment of signs.

- Use hand tools and power tools to securely mount signs on various surfaces including walls, posts, and structures.

- Operate heavy equipment as needed for large or complex installations, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, or repairing areas prior to installation to guarantee durability and proper fit.

- Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to coordinate installation schedules and site requirements.

- Conduct inspections during and after installation to verify proper functioning, safety compliance, and aesthetic quality.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on sign installation or related fields such as carpentry, masonry, or framing.

- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to signage projects.

- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) commonly used in construction settings.

- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus for handling large signage components or structural supports.

- Experience with construction inspection processes to ensure safety standards and quality control are maintained throughout projects.

- Knowledge of electrical systems or plumbing is advantageous for signs requiring electrical wiring or plumbing connections.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols; construction site experience is essential.
