City Wide Property Services, Inc. (City Wide) currently has an opening for a SHOP MECHANIC to join our expanding team in the FRESNO area!
For two and a half decades, City Wide has been an industry leader in providing reliable, first-class maintenance, repairs, and day-to-day upkeep for commercial properties throughout the Western United States.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
•
Experience troubleshooting and repairing small engine equipment is required.
•
Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial outdoor power equipment such as lawnmowers, chain saws, core drills, and paint sprayers
•
Do routine service and maintenance on all major equipment, including replacing broken parts as needed
•
Maintain pressure washing equipment and trucks, including weekly inspection reports and repairs
•
Work with Fleet Manager to coordinate more extensive vehicle repairs
•
Maintain and keep an organized shop
•
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
•
At least three (3) years of experience and knowledge of light commercial grade equipment, hydraulic and electrical systems, small engine rebuilds, and maintenance of said equipment
•
Basic analytical and computer skills
•
Clean Driving Record (5+ years clearance is required)
•
Able to work extra hours and/or changed schedules as needed
•
Clean and neat appearance
•
Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
•
High school diploma or equivalent; Preference will be given to candidates with mechanic certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
