Shipping, Receiving and Purchasing Generalist

Job Overview

Come grow with us. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping, Receiving and Purchasing person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the shop, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining inventory records. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in basic math, and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Duties

- Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.

- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately.

- Operate fork truck and other material handling equipment safely to move goods within the warehouse.

- Place and follow up on purchase orders and assist with sourcing.

- Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all items are stored correctly and accessible for order fulfillment.

- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment as needed.

- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Ability to learn and operate Job Boss program is required.

- Lifting up to 50lbs. repeatedly is required.

Experience

- Strong basic computer skills.

- Previous experience in S&R or Purchasing preferred.

- Strong basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.50 - $29.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
