Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Shipping & Logistics Associate (North Kansas City) – Holland Nameplate Inc. This role will not be limited to only shipping tasks—we are looking for people who can adapt, learn, and step into other production roles as needed, while being comfortable with technology and automation. Shift: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–4:30pm (overtime Fridays if required).

Responsibilities:

- Verify and audit orders to ensure accuracy; resolve discrepancies quickly

- Sort, stack, and count parts with attention to detail

- Inspect parts for quality defects before shipping

- Prepare bills of lading and international shipping documents

- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and schedule pickups

- Track shipments and maintain accurate records in ERP/SAP

- Keep shipping stations organized, stocked, and compliant

- Support other departments when needed and contribute to process improvements

Requirements:

- 2+ years experience in plant/warehouse/distribution environment

- Experience with UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager, LTL, and international shipping

- ERP/SAP and MS Office proficiency

- Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

- Ability to lift 50 lbs; forklift certification a plus
