Shipping Clerk

Shipping Clerk, M-F 8am-430pm

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our Shipping Team.

A successful Shipping Clerk has strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating daily shipping operations, ensuring products are accurately packaged, documented, and shipped on time.

Job duties:

- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.

- Verify contents of shipments against shipping documents to ensure accuracy.

- Generate shipping documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels).

- Schedule and coordinate pickups with carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.).

- Inspect packages for damage, proper labeling, and compliance with safety standards.

- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory movement.

- Assist with receiving incoming materials when needed.

- Communicate with production, quality, and office teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.

Skills/Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in shipping/receiving, preferably in a manufacturing or job shop environment.

- Strong Attention to Detail, Reliability, and Customer Service Skills

- Familiarity with shipping software, ERP/MRP systems, and carrier portals (UPS, FedEx, freight)

- Ability to read and interpret packing lists, work orders, and shipping documents

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
