Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. This position requires proficiency in various warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Duties

- Manage the shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading trucks.

- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and order fulfillment.

- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely to move products within the warehouse.

- Perform order picking and packing duties to prepare items for shipment.

- Ensure accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments using RF scanners and MRP systems.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment.

- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution efficiency.

- Assist with e-commerce order processing as needed, ensuring timely delivery of products.

- Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy.

Requirements

- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in shipping & receiving roles.

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and e-commerce platforms is a plus.

- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate inventory tracking and order fulfillment.

- Experience with packaging, stocking, and order picking processes is highly desirable.

- Ability to operate various equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks safely

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks performed.

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
