Job Purpose: The objectives of these positions are to manage and execute incoming and outgoing items or packages of purchased raw materials or other items as well as subcontract services. Visually verify and accurately count FZE items as you are packaging them to ensure shipments meet specifications, determine shipment methods, manage internal material movements as well as external van & freight movements for quantity accuracy, high quality and zero defects.
Accountabilities to ensure Customer Satisfaction and Company Profits by:
Unloading and loading incoming and outgoing raw, semi-finished and finished products
Receiving products and services into ProfitKey ERP system and moving to the correct location
Receiving Finished Goods into ProfitKey ERP system and moving to the correct location
Pulling products from Finished Goods Inventory, counting and packing for outgoing freight daily
Assist in satisfying all shipments with 100% visual verification and 100% Qty order fulfillment
Moving products and assisting in other areas within the plant as needed
Job-Share: Saw barstock, broach parts, inspect incoming and outgoing products as needed
Visually inspecting, measuring, counting and verifying incoming freight prior to unloading
Visually inspect and count outgoing freight to verify Quality, quantity and integrity before packaging for shipment
Manage delivery schedules and work with scheduling / production teams to achieve customer ship date requirements – collaborate between Shipping, Receiving and Inventory activity.
Maintaining the loading dock and outside yard areas to be presentable and safe at all times
Audit and Cycle Count Raw, Components and Finished Goods periodically as instructed by FZE
Practice courteous and professionalism with co-workers, customers, suppliers, drivers, etc.
Support positive Shop Floor Morale, promote Company SAFETY POLICIES, effective housekeeping via an orderly and organized work environment
Assist in managing costs, efficiencies, production accountability, cost of scrap (<.75% of sales) and quality of parts or services produced to sustain >98% On-Time Delivery
Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO, OSHA, EEO, EPA & ADA, etc.
Assist in overseeing new employee On-The-Job-Training and performance to include preventative and corrective actions (5 Why or 8D Root Cause Analysis) when necessary
Championing all in-house forklift or lifttruck maint and safety
Championing Housekeeping for Sales shop tours, vendor visits and evaluations as required
Cross Training and Knowledge Sharing, Additional duties and flexibility as needed by FZE
Flexible Full Time Work Schedule: 8 to 12 hour shift duration, 40+ hours/week as needed

Good close vision to focus clearly and see fine details on computer screens and/or reports

Ability to feel vibrations, smell excess heat and/or fire caused by machines or cutting tools
Strong reasoning ability (“LOGIC & COMMON SENSE”) to efficiently resolve difficulties
Proficient computer and electronic device skills – ERP/MRP System, Email, Excel, etc.
Strong attention to detail including housekeeping and organizational skills
Autonomous self-directed, self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Ability to safely operate factory equipment such as forklifts, cranes or hand tools
Valid vehicular operator’s license and safe driving record required
Flexible Schedule: Early morning, late evening, night or weekend hours as required
Must be “ALERT” and able to respond quickly and appropriately to changing manufacturing conditions that arise to correct situations with employees / Exposure to manufacturing noises
2-3 years of ERP System and computer transactional experience
2-3 years of related Shipping & Receiving to include lift-truck operational experience
1-2 years of freight and precision metal manufactured parts packaging experience
1-2 years of critical thinking skills and problem prevention and/or resolution experience
Proficient housekeeping, time management and shop related organizational skills
