Radiation Safety & Control Services (RSCS), Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Shipping & Receiving Clerk to oversee and manage all shipping and receiving operations at our Corporate Office in Seabrook, NH. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate receipt, documentation, and distribution of equipment—particularly items requiring calibration or repair—as well as handling materials for internal departments such as Sales, Business Services, and Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Coordinate and manage all incoming and outgoing shipments, with a focus on calibration and repair equipment.
•Perform quality control tasks including daily equipment checks, monthly shipping area audits, and receipt documentation reviews.
•Communicate and clarify customer-specific shipping or receiving requests.
•Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring packing lists and calibration certificates are included.
•Identify and manage contaminated items per company policy, including proper labeling and segregation.
•Assist with inventory tracking for shipping supplies (e.g., boxes, gloves, labels).
•Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping area.
•Support the Lab Manager and perform additional tasks as assigned.
•Adhere to all safety and security procedures in the instrument calibration lab.
•Maintain confidentiality and share sensitive information only on a need-to-know basis.
•Initiate condition reports when deviations from SOPs, SAPs, or company policies are observed.
•Resolve issues related to shipping or inventory handling and address customer concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
•High School diploma or equivalent required.
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in shipping, receiving, or related office operations.
•Must successfully pass an FBI background check.
•Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and SAP systems preferred.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
•Effective verbal and written communication skills.
•Customer service oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
•Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
•Regularly required to stand and walk; occasional sitting, climbing, kneeling, or stooping.
•Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
•Visual requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
•Exposure to moderate noise levels.
