May include some or all of the following; or any other assigned tasks directly or indirectly by management.
- Organize and receive incoming shipments and notify appropriate lab departments of their arrival
- Offloading courier and freight shipments
- Create shipping labels and bills of lading for outgoing shipments
- Track delivered and back ordered items, scan paperwork, and inform the respective departments
- Store/Deliver packages as required
- Report damaged parcels/skids immediately
- Sort, dispose, return, and store client material
- Package and prepare shipments
- Prepare packing lists/shipment details for shipments within Canada as needed
- Coordinate shipments and compare pricing
- Assist in tracking incoming and outgoing shipments as required
- Updating logs, excel files, internal tickets, or the storage program as required for samples and supplies
- Clearing customs for incoming shipments
- Ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met
