Job Description Summary
The RMA Shipper & Receiver position involves receiving customer RMA products, accurate data entry, packing and shipping customer RMA products. This position requires the following proficiencies:
Job Description Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform basic tasks relative to material handling including but not limited to receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of RMA materials in accordance with process & procedures.
- Create shipments at carrier/customer portals (Shipping) – FEDEX, DHL, UPS, Purolator, etc.
- Perform Shipping transactions (Domestic and International).
- Create commercial invoices, packing slips, bill of landing.
- Maintain and file shipping records.
- Maintain pack up material stock for RMA repair shipments.
- Prioritize RMA receiving, pack up and shipping tasks based on urgency and commitments.
- Run daily report of ready to ship completed RMA repair and replacement orders.
- Inspect received RMA shipments for damage and report damages to RMA Coordinator(s) and Supervisor.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams on RMA shipments and instructions (including but not limited to arranging RMA pickup from customer site for order errors).
- Ability to interpret, investigate and take action on transaction inquiries from team members & communicates accordingly
- Promote and participate in Continuous Improvement, such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S principles and objectives etc.
- Pack up and stock service used products in appropriate shelving.
- Follow FIFO guidelines.
- Assist in physical inventory counts
- Keep workstation, tools and equipment in a neat and orderly manner
- Understand and comply with all Company, (EHS) Safety Rules and Regulations
- Engage and participate in a self-directed teaming environment
- Transport finished RMA repair and replacement orders to the shipping area.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP)
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
- Minimum of 3 years related materials experience (shipping/receiving, inventory, WIP)
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required
- Proven computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Self-motivated, detailed oriented and ability to prioritize workload to meet customer needs
- Team player, able to communicate and work co-operatively with all levels of the organization
- Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions and adjust to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task, participative, team environment
- Excellent organizational, communication and management skills
