Solar Door Setter (Full-Time or Part-Time) Fast-Track Promotion to Solar Closer

A rapidly growing clean-energy outreach organization serving the Frisco–Dallas region is hiring motivated individuals for both Full-Time and Part-Time field roles. Whether you're seeking a flexible schedule or a full-time career path, this opportunity offers strong training, consistent support, and a clear advancement track into a Solar Closer position.

All new hires begin as Door Setters, focusing on homeowner engagement and scheduling solar consultations. After completing several weeks of skill-based training and meeting performance milestones, qualified team members will be coached and promoted into Solar Closers, where they present proposals and close their own deals.

Position Overview

As a Solar Door Setter, you will visit residential neighborhoods, speak with homeowners about available clean-energy programs, and set qualified appointments for our advisors. No selling or closing is required during the initial phase.

Both Full-Time and Part-Time applicants may apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage homeowners at the door within assigned neighborhoods

- Share basic information about solar and clean-energy benefits

- Set and confirm qualified consultation appointments

- Follow communication, routing, and reporting procedures

- Participate in ongoing training to prepare for the Closer track

Training & Schedule

Training Provided — No Experience Required

Virtual Training:

- Tuesdays & Thursdays at 2 PM (Google Meet)

In-Person Coaching (Frisco, TX):

- Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays

Schedules Available:

- Full-Time: Afternoon–evening field work (Mon–Fri), weekends optional

- Part-Time: Flexible 3–5 day options, afternoon/evening preferred

Requirements

- Must live near Frisco or Dallas, TX

- Personal transportation

- Smartphone for routing and scheduling

- Comfortable talking with homeowners

- Coachable, reliable, and motivated

- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required

Compensation

- Commission-based earnings

- Incentives for qualified and completed appointments

- Higher earning potential after promotion to Closer

- Full-Time earners typically make more due to volume, but strong Part-Time performers can also advance
