Overview:

We are currently looking for a dedicated Wastewater and FOG Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wastewater and liquid waste handling applications. General equipment repair and maintenance with a focus on waste grease processing equipment operation and wastewater treatment systems.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on industrial processing equipment

- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs

- Operate processing equipment and machinery including centrifuges, filters, pumps and vacuum tanker trucks

- Execute water treatment processes such as physical/chemical treatment, sludge dewatering, filtration, and oil/water separation

- Maintain and troubleshoot logic controllers and distributed control systems

- Address mechanical issues through effective troubleshooting and repair techniques

- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

- Proficiency in equipment repair and basic plumbing techniques

- Experience with forklift operations

- Familiarity with physical/chemical water treatment processes

- Ability to work with logic controllers and data collection systems

- Strong aptitude for problem-solving mechanical issues

- Basic math skills for calculations related to equipment maintenance
