Senior Transmission Engineer

Campos is continuing to grow and we are looking for an experienced Transmission Engineer to join our team. As a Transmission Engineer at Campos EPC, your role is pivotal in the engineering, design, and analysis of transmission lines, as well as the development of comprehensive project packages. This is a hybrid position and we are open to hire at our Anaheim, Tampa, Atlanta, Columbus, and Denver locations (no remote). - Responsible for the engineering and design of high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.

- Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings.

- Conducting detailed analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

- Provide field support during construction.

- Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.

- Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but may involve a variety of complex features.

- May coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and report preparation assignments.

- Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.

- Adhere to codes and standards while delivering innovative solutions.

- Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements (min)

- BS in Engineering from ABET accredited program

Experience

- 8-15 years of experience required within Transmission Engineering

- PLS CADD required

- The ideal candidate has a PE or is able to obtain it within the next 3 months

SALARY: 110-140K DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND LOCATION
