The Senior Specialist, Operations Applications reports to the Manager, Operations Applications and is responsible for providing technical support of third-party business applications and custom developed web applications used by the Commercial Operations, Commercial Services, and Measurement groups. This position will also provide integration enhancements and support for numerous applications critical to integrating data across the enterprise.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
•Perform production support activities for our Commercial Operations and Commercial Services groups on their Pipeline and LNG Customer Transaction Management and Measurement systems.
•Organize and perform requirements gathering, design, testing, and support of enhancements to third party applications including configuration, integrations and reports.
•Provide customer technical and functional support services for several departments including: Commercial Operations, Commercial Services, Marine, and Land groups.
•Provide technical support for EDI transactions.
•Provide technical and functional support for custom applications using C# .NET and Biztalk.
•Participate in software design and code reviews and provide feedback to improve quality and effectiveness.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
•Knowledge: Technical knowledge supporting third-party applications and custom developed product extensions and integrations. Knowledge of pipeline or LNG business applications including Contracts, Nominations, Gas Scheduling, Gas Accounting, and Measurement is a plus, as well as knowledge of EDI.

+ Ability to developing and executing application test plans
+ Ability to lead user acceptance testing efforts
+ Ability to work independently across multiple areas/disciplines/job families on complex assignments
+ Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and/or multiple high priority issues with limited guidance
Work closely with project managers on business and technology projects including working with managers, professionals and technicians outside of own department and Cheniere
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•Education : Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in IT, Engineering, or Business-related field.
•Experience : Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience such as business analysis, data management, troubleshooting and problem resolution, report writing, testing, and C# and .NET web application design and development. Experience supporting Quorum Business Solutions software and measurement applications PGAS and/or FlowCAL are a plus.

WORK CONDITIONS
•Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others.
•Occasionally, work may be performed from home, after normal work hours or on weekends.
•Periodically travel as business requires.
