Job Title: Senior Scheduler Department: Trading - Operations

The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $103,939.20 - $129,924
Job Summary
This position will be executing the scheduling duties related to Avangrid Renewables wind, thermal, solar, and proprietary trading activities in all North American power markets. Ensuring the company's resources and trading activities meet all contractual obligations. Managing the economic dispatch of generation and the use of transmission and contracted assets. Preparation of generation and delivery schedules through full pathing, proper tagging, and the use of Avangrid's energy management software. Accurately communicating detailed information to internal and external customers both written and verbally. Following process and procedures to ensure all proprietary and asset related trading activities are accurately balanced and completed on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities* Daily communication of forecasted wind generation and obligations to counterparties within contracted deadlines.Required Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications* Business, Economic Finance or Engineering degree
