Position Specific Description Come join our awesome team and help us manage one of FPL’s key strategic initiatives for storm hardening! Our Storm Secure Underground Program (SSUP) is focused on converting overhead neighborhood power lines to underground to help our customers experience less outages during severe weather events. This team is growing and we need someone that is going to bring great energy to our team and our customers; is focused on meeting all project objectives while keeping our customers and municipalities informed of our progress; is willing to help us try new processes and tools that will allow us to improve our program’s performance and reduce the impact to our customers; is capable of leading and engaging our strategic vendor partners to ensure projects are complete on time, on budget and with excellent quality; and is looking to grow with a program that is focused on improving the reliability of FPL’s electric service in both severe weather events and day-to-day.
This job is responsible for providing technical direction on business unit projects and/or project participants. Employees in this role plan, coordinate, and complete large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long term project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
