- Lead and perform power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, and stability analysis.
- Support transmission and distribution system planning, design reviews, and system upgrades.
- Review, stamp, and approve engineering deliverables in compliance with Ohio PE requirements.
- Develop and review T&D designs, including substations, feeders, interconnections, and utility infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with IEEE, NESC, NEC, and applicable utility and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, calculations, and client deliverables.
- Collaborate with utilities, project managers, and cross-functional engineering teams
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Ohio (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in power systems, transmission, and distribution engineering.
- Strong expertise in utility-scale electrical infrastructure and grid systems.
- Proficiency with industry tools such as PSS®E, ETAP, CYME, EasyPower, PSCAD, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. utility standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects.
- Prior experience working with U.S. electric utilities, ISOs, or energy consultants.
- Experience with interconnection studies, renewable integration, and grid modernization projects.
- Multi-state PE licensure or ability to obtain licensure through comity.
- Experience supporting RFPs, technical proposals, and client engagements.
