Senior Mechanical Engineer

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Applies knowledge of engineering principles to design components, products, tests and systems.

- Produces technical deliverables (e.g. 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, test reports, analysis reports, design calculations, tolerance analysis, etc.). Assists with prototype assemblies.

- Completes or facilitates engineering change requests that provide needed improvements to documentation and design.

- Works with system level engineering to assist in planning projects and assessing technical feasibility. Leads technical presentations and progress reports.

- Resolve manufacturing issues that require engineering oversight.

- Other duties as assigned.

Experience

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- 8+ years of engineering experience.

- Experience performing calculations for engineering design.

- Experience with 3D CAD software, SolidWorks preferred.

Preferred Experience

- Pipeline or pressure vessel industry experience

- Familiar with pipeline, processing, and or pressure vessel codes; ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, Section VIII Div. 1

- ASME B31.12 expereince a plus
