Senior Manager, Financial Reporting and Compliance

Lead the close and consolidation process across functional teams; ensure timely, relevant communication and set the standard for excellence and high-quality deliverables

Drive the close cycle automation initiative intended to condense the close cycle, reduce manual work and improve controllership

Define and monitor key success metrics, accounting capacity models, and lead alignment discussions within accounting to prioritize recommended roadmap items

Maintain effective internal controls for the financial close and consolidation processes, ensuring compliance with public company requirements and mitigating financial risk

Lead high priority initiatives across accounting teams, including M&A integrations, reorganizations, and automation opportunities

Run an intercompany accounting program that provides transparency, clear communication, and follows transfer pricing and regulatory reporting requirements

Participate in the month-end close cycle, including ownership of journal entries, reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses, for limited financial statement line items

Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing supervision, leadership, and support to drive high-performance and professional development

7+ years participating in an accounting close cycle at a mid-large sized, publicly traded company or experience at a public accounting firm in assurance

2+ years of direct supervisory experience required

Strong understanding of IFRS required; CPA required

Big 4/Public accounting/Public company reporting and consolidation experience strongly

preferred

Experience leading cross-functional work, with ability to manage several projects at once

An analytical problem solver comfortable tackling ambiguous, complex opportunities and

delivering a logical action plan

Proven ability fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivering quality and excellence

Subject matter expertise related to large-scale accounting or ERP systems such as NetSuite, implementation experience, a plus

Effective communicator with ability to use data to derive insights

Ability to form relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization
