Senior Geoscientist
Location:
Houston, TX
Leading energy firm based in Houston is seeking a skilled Geoscientist to join their dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in the energy sector.
Responsibilities:
•
Conduct comprehensive geological and geophysical evaluations to assess potential hydrocarbon reserves.
•
Utilize advanced software and tools to analyze seismic data and generate accurate geological models.
•
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize drilling and exploration strategies.
•
Provide technical expertise and recommendations to enhance reservoir performance and recovery.
•
Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for senior management.
Requirements:
•
Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related field; PhD preferred.
•
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in geoscience roles within the energy industry.
•
Proficiency in industry-standard software for geological modeling and seismic interpretation.
•
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex geological data and
•
Adept with Kingdom software, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
•
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
