Currently we have an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A. This role directly supports the Business Controllers in conducting planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance insights while supporting the evolution of the Business Control / FP&A function through automation, advanced analytics, and applied AI.

The objective of this role is to increase speed, reliability, and insight quality across forecasting, reporting, and performance management, while reducing manual effort, execution risk, and reliance on individuals.

What You Will Be Doing

- Provide direct support to Business Controllers, management, and other stakeholders, providing insight into a wide range of business and financial decisions.

- Apply AI-enabled analytics and predictive techniques to enhance forecasting accuracy, identify key business drivers, and support risk and scenario analysis in a transparent and governed manner.

- Use AI and process automation to support the Financial Control team in enhancing the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of month-end close and reporting, while streamlining routine and manual activities.

- Support the design, implementation, and adoption of an AI enablement framework within Finance, including use-case planning, governance, controls, and change management, to ensure AI solutions are practical, scalable, and embedded into core Business Control workflows.

- Design and implement practical AI and automation use cases within Business Control, such as automated variance analysis, forecast driver analysis, reconciliation support, and commentary enablement.

- Develops, maintains and updates short and long-term financial models, annual budget models and rolling quarterly forecast models, including presentation of assumptions and validation of inputs.

- Translate business requirements into intuitive, scalable dashboards (Power Bi) and analytics solutions, ensuring reporting is aligned to key performance indicators, cost drivers, and decision-making needs.

- Support the continuous improvement of Finance analytics and automation capabilities by leveraging tools such as Power BI, Fabric, Copilot, SQL, and selective automation solutions to enhance reporting, forecasting, and performance management processes.

- Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and shared libraries for dashboards, data models, SQL scripts, and automation workflows to reduce key-person risk and support continuity.

- Support recurring management reporting and performance review cycles by preparing and presenting clear, decision-oriented financial insights for senior management, including local leadership and global stakeholders.

- Assist in the development and monitoring of effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with internal and external policies.

- Support strategic and cost management initiatives led by the Controlling team, contributing analysis and insights that support long-term business objectives.

- Participate in broader business initiatives and cross-functional activities in support of the organization’s overall strategy and targets.

What You Will Bring Along

- University degree in a related field (accounting, finance, business administration).

- CPA designation considered an asset.

- Minimum 4-5 years of related experience in financial planning & analysis roles.

- Exposure to automation, analytics enablement, or AI tools) considered an asset.

- Advanced experience in creating reports and dashboard using PowerBi and other related tools.

- Experience applying automation and AI-enabled analytics tools (e.g., Copilot for analysis and insight generation, Python for automation) to enhance finance processes, reporting, or decision-making is considered an asset.

- Confident with writing and reading SQL on intermediate to complex queries.

- Experience using large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) as well as financial planning software such as Adaptive Insights, Vena, BOARD, Prophix, Oracle Hyperion Planning etc.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well with all levels of the organization.

- Ability to work well under pressure.

- Demonstrates a team-first mindset, working collaboratively across Finance and the broader organization to achieve shared outcomes.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills including ThinkCell.
