As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our business planning and regulatory compliance—making a direct impact on our team, our customers, and our long-term success.
- Lead complex financial planning and analysis efforts to support strategic decision-making, regulatory filings, and operational forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate capital projects, customer load impacts, and cost recovery mechanisms.
- Ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment across the organization.
- Leverage advanced financial modeling tools (such as Utilities International) to distill actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
We’re seeking candidates who are motivated self-starters with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and a passion for financial excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA preferred but not required).
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, preferably within electric utilities or regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of utility accounting, revenue requirements, and regulatory frameworks (FERC, SEC, SOX).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with databases, PowerPoint, and financial planning software (UI, Oracle, PowerPlan, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate and present to senior leadership.
