If you are a Finance Professional looking for an opportunity, we have an opportunity for you. Based in our Sidney, OH location, you will support the accurate and timely preparation and reporting financial information to leadership teams. This position will be key in completing reconciliations, analysis of general ledger accounts, monthly journal entries and needed financial reports.
- Create and enter manual journal entries and prepare reconciliations for month end close and maintain supporting workpapers and analyses.
- Coordinate monthly billings related to centralized charges and work with company legal entities to ensure proper recording of such charges.
- Perform account analysis of various general ledger accounts. Identify and resolve issues and implement process improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to meet Company and Government reporting requirements.
- Support field work of internal and external auditors.
- Participate in department and/or cross-functional projects and provide other ad-hoc analysis as needed.
- Engage with technical teams and other resources working on Oracle and process improvement initiatives to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting plus two (2) or more years of relevant experience.
- The candidate should possess strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and cost accounting theories and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of linked spreadsheets, data downloads, complex formulas, and pivot tables.
- Must have the ability to meet strict deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
- Must have strong analytical and communication skills.
- Must be able to work productively in a team and independently.
- Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
- Prior experience with Oracle financial applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Power Point) including advanced functions
- Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management software
- Familiarity with data analytics tools (Domo, Power BI, Power Query)
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Public accounting experience
- CPA and/or CMA certification(s)
