In Australia we own and manage the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine, and the Tropicana Gold Mine (70% AGA owned 30% Regis Resources). These are two of Western Australia’s premier gold operations, with ongoing investment and exploration taking place across both open pit and underground operations at each site.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Specialist Environment

to join our Environmental team at our Tropicana Gold Mine. Accountable to the Superintendent: Environment Operations, this is offered on a 4 days on, 3 days off roster. Where we offer a direct flight from Perth and a quick commute to camp.

Qualifications

- A strong commitment to safety.

- Quality communication skills at relevant levels of the business.

- A broad understanding of mining disciplines including exploration, mining, processing, and maintenance activities.

- The skills to be outcomes focused and flexible; to know what we must do to maintain compliance and find new, innovative ways to do that.

- A tertiary qualification in environmental science, or equivalent industry experience, with demonstrate site based operational experience at a senior level.

- Knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements, hazard, and risk management.

- Demonstrated experienced in a site-based role, at a senior level.

- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to interpret and manage environmental data to inform decision making.

- Obtaining of a national police clearance

- Permanent work rights in Australia (Mandatory)
