Position Description

Origis Energy, a mission-drive culture focused on sustainability and innovation, is seeking strategic and hands-on Senior Director of Operational Excellence to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives using Lean methodologies. This role reports directly to the CEO and will guide leaders across the organization in applying continuous improvement, structured problem solving, and performance management practices. The near-term measure of success is ensuring reliable execution during transformation, while building the foundation for scalable, sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Enterprise Transformation: Lead the development and deployment of Lean-based Operational Excellence strategies that align with our growth objectives and business priorities.

- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Facilitate structured problem solving and improvement initiatives across departments, embedding Lean thinking into daily operations and decision-making.

- Performance Management: Guide team leaders in identifying relevant KPIs for their functions, monitor performance through Monthly Operating Reviews, and support the creation of Action Plans when metrics deviate from targets.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leaders across all departments to optimize processes and drive alignment both vertically and horizontally.

- Execution with Urgency: Instill a culture of proactive execution, initiative, and accountability, ensuring teams consistently deliver or exceed stretch goals.

- Process Design for Scale: Enhance and build processes that support sustainable improvement and position the company to compete and win in a dynamic energy market.

- Vision & Alignment: Help leaders articulate a clear vision for their teams and work areas, and support them in aligning efforts toward that vision.

- Executive Partnership: Collaborate directly with executive leadership to ensure Operational Excellence initiatives are tightly integrated with strategic priorities and transformation efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Lean Transformation, or Business Process Improvement, ideally in energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors

- Deep expertise in Lean methodologies

- Proven success guiding cross-functional teams through change and improvement in high-growth environments

- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills

- Experience in renewable energy IPP environments is a strong plus, but not required. We welcome candidates with a proven track record of Lean transformation in complex, regulated industries

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
