Position Summary:
The Sr. Director, Strategic Planning is responsible for leading the UGI International Treasury operations team, leading international treasury projects while providing advanced financial modeling for UGI’s parent-level strategic planning.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute global treasury strategy aligned with corporate objectives and risk tolerance
- Lead treasury operations across multiple countries and currencies, ensuring optimal cash positioning and forecasting
- In collaboration with the Treasurer, develop capital structure optimization and financing strategy for UGI’s international subsidiaries
- Implement sophisticated financial models to support and guide corporate strategic decision making in collaboration with UGI’s Global FP&A team
- Proven track record of building and leading global teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience managing relationships with banks, rating agencies, and external service providers
- Knowledge of international cash management, FX markets, and derivative instruments
- Advanced financial modelling abilities with both technical and managerial accounting outputs
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 10-12 years of progressive experience in finance organization
