Role Description

This is a contract role for a Senior Communications Advisor located in the Greater Halifax Metropolitan Area, and is an on-site position. The Senior Communications Advisor will be responsible for developing and executing communication strategies, handling media relations, creating content for various platforms, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging. The role involves managing crisis communications, analyzing communication metrics, and supporting stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies

- Strong skills in media relations, crisis communication management, and stakeholder engagement

- Ability to create compelling content for digital and traditional platforms

- Experience analyzing communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with the energy sector and clean energy initiatives is advantageous

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
