The Communication Specialist is responsible for helping our team communicate about all of the business and mission-critical initiatives that contribute to Luck Companies' culture and success. This individual will work collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders to lead and execute corporate and business unit communications. They will provide executive communication counsel and related writing support. They will also develop creative writing and storytelling that helps illustrate the perspectives and experiences of our associates. In addition, they will lead in the development of strategic communication plans, ensuring that our approach and related messaging align with company objectives.
Essential Functions
30% of job:
- Write clear, effective communications that illustrate our corporate and business unit brands and the perspectives of executives to engage a variety of intended audiences.
- Develop and implement annual corporate and business unit communications plan(s) and write clear and effective communication for key initiatives and touch points.
- Develop and implement external communications plans that align with corporate and business unit strategies.
- Build collaborative relationships, grounded in trust, reliability, and mutual understanding with key corporate, business unit, and external stakeholders.
- Create open channels of communication with team members, build business knowledge and stay well connected throughout business units.
- Pursue self-development by working on self, model the way, and inspire and influence others to do the same. Consistently display VBL competencies.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Education Major: English, Journalism, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
Work Experience: 5+ years of direct relevant experience
