Summary
Reporting to the Director of Sourcing, Americas, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing key sourcing strategies and contracts for machining, fabrication, and out-sourced-processing (OSP) support and other key categories. The select candidate will work with the Global Category Leader and other Sourcing personnel on key HMH initiatives to improve on-time delivery, mitigate cost, and ensure quality standards are met for all orders.
The Senior Buyer will be responsible for the following:* Demonstrate an understanding of the supply base as it maps to HMH’s products and global demand.Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations Management.
Preferred Qualifications:* Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar.
Additional Information* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
