The Senior Accountant II – General Ledger is a key technical and hands-on accounting role responsible for financial reporting integrity, general ledger accuracy, and complex accounting areas. As part of a growing and evolving organization, this role plays a critical part in strengthening accounting processes, improving financial visibility, and supporting scalable operations.

The Senior Accountant II will take ownership of key accounting areas while working closely with the Assistant Controller, Billing, and Operations to ensure alignment across the financial and operational lifecycle.
- Perform and lead general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Own key components of the month-end close process and financial reporting timelines
- Ensure integrity of financial statements through detailed account analysis and reconciliation
- Own and manage assigned accounting areas, which may include revenue, intercompany, accruals, fixed assets, inventory, lease accounting, payroll support, and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with the Accounting Associate to resolve discrepancies, improve data quality, and support efficient processing
- Support cash management activities, including monitoring balances, reconciling accounts, and assisting with cash reporting
- Partner with Billing and Operations to ensure accurate data flow and resolve accounting-related issues
- Support audit preparation and respond to audit requests
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and company procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and support system enhancements
- Demonstrated ability and interest in taking on increased and growing within a dynamic accounting environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel required)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, integrity, and accountability
