Seasonal Manufacturing Team Member - Automotive

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasonal team member to assist our Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong measuring and power hand tool skills, a strong work ethic and positive attitude. You will assist our Warehouse team in unloading products from containers and placing them on the shelves.

This is an immediate hire position to extend to October 31st. Applicants will have access to full time opportunities that come up.

Duties

- Assist in fabricating and installing parts needed to construct cores, in a variety of positions throughout the plant.

- Within your assigned area, ensure fabricated items are done to specifications.

- Assist the warehouse team to unload boxes of product from shipping containers.

Skills

- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors

- Good interpersonal skills to interact with staff in a professional manner

- Experience with using tools

- Knowledge of schematics to understand technical drawings is an asset

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Must be capable of working in a hot environment

- Heavy lifitng when required

-Occasional Saturday's may be needed on short notice.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $21.73 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
