Job Title: SEASONAL LABORER - FOOD SERVICES (HDQ)
This is a temporary position that provides assistance to the headquarters Food Services staff.
- Assist with the Cafeteria/ Coffee shop operations.
- Prepare food for catering, take home meals, deli, grill and daily special.
- Assist with cleaning the kitchen and atrium cafeteria area.
- Assist with doing dishes using the dishwasher machine.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSED).
- A valid driver’s license.
This position requires constant standing/walking; frequently lifting/carrying up to 35 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds; and occasional use of keyboard/computer, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 60 pounds, sitting, bending/reaching, and climbing. This position may also be exposed to heat/cold, dirt/dust, chemicals, and noise. The incumbent frequently is required to work in confined areas. The incumbent must also be able to distinguish colored control lights and hear alarms. This position is assigned to work both indoors and outdoors.
- The incumbent must have the ability to read, comprehend, and follow written/verbal instructions.
- The incumbent must also possess the ability to communicate to supervisors and co-workers in both written and verbal forms.
- A strong work ethic and good attitude, as well as the ability to be a team player.
The incumbent must be proficient with personal computers.
