Job Summary
The Scheduler of Operator Qualifications supports and aligns Written Evaluations (WE) and Performance Evaluations (PE) for Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks. This position plays a key role in streamlining and optimizing testing processes, managing resources, and supporting the use of Energy World Net (EWN) to track and coordinate a wide range of qualifications and assessments.
Essential Functions•Schedule evaluations, including planning for timing, tools, and space requirements.
•Lead the planning, prioritization, and allocation of work and resources across OQ Team to meet operational and business needs
•Use workload and resource data to drive efficient planning and informed decision-making
•Coordinate with Operating Centers to manage job changes and onboarding activities impacted by OQ requirements
•Reviews the annual and monthly Operation Plans, and the translation of the operations plans into operating budgets in regard to qualifications
•Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, including PS&C, IC, Planning, HSE, and Technical Training to effectively adhere to departmental objectives and operational goals
•Proctor written evaluations to ensure a secure, fair, and standardized testing environment in accordance with company policy and requirements
•Maintain the employee qualification database and oversee OQ assignments in the EWN system
•Serve as the liaison between the OQ Team and Technical Training, Planning, and Scheduling teams to align with operational goals and customer expectations.
•Stay current on business developments and OQ needs impacting Distribution Operations
•Promote a collaborative environment to ensure high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction
•Support Workday Learning and EWN systems to ensure compliance with federal requirements
•Assess the impact of changes or obstacles and provide recommendations on execution and prioritization
•Identify and implement improvements in processes, procedures, and personnel management based on data insights
•Contributes to departmental or operational goal accomplishments – Offers suggestions for continuous improvement, leverages others’ skills, and gains support and participation
•Actively participates in creating and contributing to a positive work environment
•Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues—both internally and externally
•Actively participates in learning activities to improve job performance and apply the newly learned knowledge in daily work activities
Required Qualifications For Position
•High School Diploma High school diploma or equivalent
•1-3 years Experience in Distribution Operations or equivalent work history
•Demonstrated experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups to achieve results High
•Knowledge of operator qualification systems, technical training, compliance requirements, and EWN platform functionality Medium
•Demonstrated understanding of planning, scheduling and budgeting activities which support Distribution Operations. Medium
•Demonstrated leadership skills. Low
•Demonstrated Project Management skills (analytical and organizational). High
•Demonstrated knowledge and ability to quickly assess and make sound decisions. Medium
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Medium
•Advanced Excel expertise, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization High
•Excellent communication skills, oral and written High
•Basic understanding of the utility industry Medium
•Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements Medium
•Valid state-issued driver’s license required Upon Hire
•EWN Proctoring Certification within 90 Days

Salary Range*:
$67,900.00 - $101,900.00
•The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
