B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.
Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, this position will be based in Edmonton, Canada.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP-related support, coordinating with IT and external partners to resolve issues and manage system updates;
- Translate business needs into SAP functional specifications, supporting system improvements and integration of third-party tools;
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP reports and dashboards to support operational, KPI, and compliance tracking, utilizing tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Office;
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance by managing user access, security profiles, and supporting audit and SOX documentation;
- Deliver SAP training and support through onboarding, refresher sessions, and user feedback meetings; and
- Assist with financial tracking and reporting, including cost structures and budget analysis linked to SAP data.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in SAP support, functional consulting, or system administration, with a strong preference for exposure to remote operations within mining, oil and gas, or other industrial sectors;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Business Administration or a related field;
- SAP Certified Specialist – SAP BW/4HANA Delta certificate or related SAP Certificate as deemed by the Company is required; and
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (MM, EWM), plus knowledge of PM/FICO and a strong grasp of procurement, inventory, audit compliance, and reporting tools.
