About The Opportunity
The SAP Business Analyst – Plant Maintenance acts as the primary link between Maintenance/Operations teams and SAP technical teams. The role focuses on optimizing maintenance processes through SAP PM—ensuring efficient maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, reliability activities, and master data accuracy.

You are an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance professional (S/4HANA preferred) who understands maintenance operations and can translate business needs into practical SAP PM solutions. You confidently gather requirements, support testing and training, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve work management, preventive maintenance, and asset reliability processes. You are analytical, detail-oriented, bilingual (French/English) preferred, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Position Responsibilities, Accountabilities And Job Duties
- Work with Maintenance, Reliability, and Operations teams to gather and document functional requirements for SAP PM.
- Translate maintenance business needs into SAP PM configurations, workflows, notifications, and work order processes.
- Facilitate workshops to document current-state maintenance practices and define future-state SAP-enabled processes.
- Conduct gap analyses to optimize maintenance execution, preventive maintenance strategies, and asset lifecycle management.
- Document workflows, functional specifications, and recommended solutions.
- Participate and support SAP Plant Maintenance implementation projects, enhancements, and rollouts.
- Prepare technical/functional specifications for Plant Maintenance enhancements.
- Develop and execute test scripts, support user acceptance testing.
- Create Plant Maintenance user guides and deliver training to end users.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Troubleshoot PM-related system issues and coordinate with internal SAP support and external partners.
- Assist users with SAP reporting tools, queries, and data extraction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Plant Maintenance, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 year’s experience in SAP PM as a Business Analyst (S/4HANA preferred).
- Strong understanding of maintenance processes: work management, preventive maintenance, reliability, asset management.
- Experience with SAP mobile maintenance tools, SAP Fiori PM apps, or equivalent.
- Experience with SAP business process analysis and modelling.
- Bilingual (French & English) preferred.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies is beneficial.
