We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Denver-based sales team. The ideal candidate will reside in Denver or the surrounding suburbs and bring proven sales experience in the oil and gas industry, ideally with a background in completions operations. This role is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting our services to key stakeholders across the oil and gas sector.
Responsibilities:
•Generate new revenue through new account development and provide service to existing accounts.
•Prioritize new business prospecting by utilizing a variety of sources to identify potential customers.
•Demonstrate and develop a strong understanding of the underlying business segment along with an understanding of the customer’s business needs within the assigned region.
•Maintain thorough knowledge of market penetration, market development, and other similar strategies to maintain sales pipeline.
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas market, with a focus on completions operations.
•Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers.
•Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations to position our services and uncover new opportunities.
•Develop and deliver compelling proposals, quotes, and service agreements tailored to client needs.
•Maintain expert knowledge of our service offerings and understand how they address specific client challenges.
•Partner cross-functionally with operations and technical teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
•Track all sales activities, pipeline stages, and client communications using CRM tools.
•Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand brand awareness and generate leads.
Qualifications:
•Must reside in Denver or surrounding suburbs
•3+ years of sales experience in the oil and gas industry; experience in completions operations strongly preferred
•Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
•Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and manage a sales pipeline
•Strong understanding of oilfield services and operations, especially in completions
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
•Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships
•Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
•Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills
•Ability to travel locally for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
