- Make professional sales calls in person and by phone to customers involved in the entire buying process to develop long-term business.
- Develop ethical professional relationships with customers, vendors and peers.
- Work with store staff to prepare commercial quotes and proposals to maximize the overall profitability of the supply store and grow market share.
- Develop market analysis of regional markets and apply to a Strategic Sales Plan.
- Meet reporting requirements as set by Store Manager for assigned customer calls, deliveries and time management efficiencies; develop business forecasts and yearly budgets.
- Work with TPS Credit Department to collect outstanding Account Receivable.
- Document customer information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Resolve customer complaints.
- Keep abreast of new products and services available in the market and makes recommendations to customers.
- Participate in industry professional organizations and social functions as a representative of Toolpushers Supply Company.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education with two (2) years of related inside sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Working knowledge of all types of oilfield equipment.
- Knowledge of the company’s reporting systems, as well as Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and other related computer systems.
- Ability to learn and apply the company’s E21 system.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Possession of or the ability to acquire forklift certification.
- Ability to acquire other safety certifications as necessary.
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
