Sales Manager – SaaS Solutions for Renewable Energy

This role offers an opportunity for a motivated and strategic sales professional to join a fast-growing SaaS company advancing data-driven solutions for the renewable energy sector. You’ll lead the sales cycle from identifying opportunities and qualifying leads to closing deals and ensuring successful adoption. The position suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, combines a consultative sales approach with a customer-first mindset, and is excited about contributing to a mission centered on sustainability and innovation.


Key Responsibilities

- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and responding to inbound interest.

- Evaluate and qualify leads based on fit and potential, maintaining focus on clients across the Americas.

- Deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly articulate business value and differentiation.

- Negotiate contract terms, finalize agreements, and consistently exceed revenue targets.

- Partner with new clients to ensure seamless onboarding and successful deployment of the software solution.

- Maintain long-term customer relationships through exceptional communication and support.

- Identify new revenue streams through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.

- Gather client insights to inform internal teams and guide ongoing product and strategy improvements.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine sales processes and shape go-to-market approaches.

- Forecasting, pipeline tracking, and market opportunity analysis.


Qualifications and Traits

- 5+years of B2B SaaS sales experience ideally in the energy sector.

- Consistent record of achieving or surpassing sales quotas within high-growth or start-up settings.

- Demonstrated success managing complex deal structures.

- Good collaboration with technical or subject matter experts to devise effective sales strategies.

- Proficiency in persuasive, platform-based product demonstrations.

- Entrepreneurial work ethic and self-starter.

- Willingness to travel for client engagements, events, and conferences.

- Professional and collaborative approach.
